This past week, Disney announced that the new Galaxies Edge (Star Wars Land) would come with a new tiered system for annual passes at the Disney theme parks. Now guests with APs will be given a certain park to enter on certain days of the month. The goal is to keep crowds flowing through the parks without getting too overcrowded, especially in what will be Disneyland and Walt Disney World's most popular new land. These new rules go into effect next year as the Star Wars areas open, but what does that mean for the future? Is Disney looking to close out certain tiers of their passes? Will they get rid of passes altogether or will the prices just be extraordinary?
